Species List: 19-11-2016, NW Reef, Old Woman Island, Sunshine Coast, Queensland.

43 Species NW Reef, Old Woman Island, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, 19-11-2016

Gary, and David on this excursion consisting of 1 x 96 minute and 1 x 91 minute dives in water depths from 10 m to 12.5 m. 6 m viz, 24 C water temp and some surge.

We decided to give the same dive site we visited earlier in the week another going over while it is still productive. A number of species different to last time were sighted. Nothing new to add to our overall list but Crimora edwardsi and Actinocyclus verrucosus are uncommon finds. The sighting of the Philinopsis orientalis is a first by us outside of the Mooloolah River.

Species List: 16-11-2016, NW Reef, Old Woman Island, Sunshine Coast, Queensland.

45 Species sighted at NW Reef, Old Woman Island, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, 16-11-2016.

Terry, Gary, David Hill and David on this excursion consisting of 1 x 96 minute and 1 x 89 minute dives in water depths from 9 m to 13 m. 6 m viz , 23 C water temp and little surge.

Good surface conditions and reasonable visibility greeted us at one of our favourite Mudjimba Island dive sites although the water had a distinct green hue probably as a result of the weekend storms. Good numbers recorded again with some not-so-common species including Dendrodoris sp. 4, Hallaxa translucens and Verconia haliclona to name a few. It was not until the images were reviewed post dive that it was realised we had two new finds to add to our Sunshine Coast records - Atagema sp. 2 and Trinchesia sp. 39.
