Species List: 16-02-2020, Rotunda upriver, La Balsa Park, Mooloolah River, Mooloolaba, Sunshine Coast, Qld.

9+ species sighted at Rotunda upriver, La Balsa Park, Mooloolah River, Mooloolaba, Sunshine Coast, Qld. 16-02-2020.

A single shore entry dive by Gary, Fran, Steve and Nevar of 180 minutes. Maximum depth 5.6 m, 27 C water temperature and up to 3 m viz.

Today the water looked much better. On the bottom there still was a Martian feel with a small current just enough to wash away fluff. The fresh water from runoff has really given the life in the river a big hit. Finding Gymnodoris nigricolor and Plakobranchus ocellatus were great finds today. Many bubble shells were found as well.
