47 species sighted at Fish Cage up river, La Balsa Park, Mooloolah River, Mooloolaba, Qld. 28-12-2020.
A single shore entry day come night dive with Gary, David, Tracey and Harvey of 320 minutes. Maximum depth 5.7 m, 27 C water temperature, up to 3 m viz.
Interestingly as we drifted to the trees an expensive sailboat crashed into the Toilet Block marker where the mast broke over it. With lots of rain predicted we opted to dive instead of eating and drinking. Some very interesting critters were recorded including two new species and one new record for the river.
