23 species sighted at Toilet Block, La Balsa Park, Mooloolah River, Mooloolaba, Qld. 21-02-2021.
A single shore entry dive with Gary, Tracey and Harvey of 301 minutes. Maximum depth 6.0 m, 27 C water temperature, up to 3 m viz.
With a 1.1 m tidal flow it was time to revisit Toilet Block. To me the viz was better then 2 days ago and more species. Spurilla braziliana was a treat from under a rock. And finding Discodorid sp. 1 again was also a nice treat. Be it small and striking Placida kevinleei was a great find as well. Quite a few bubble shells were found today.
