16 species sighted at Fish Cage, La Balsa Park, Mooloolah River, Sunshine Coast, Qld. 04-08-2021.

A single solo shore entry dive with Gary of 121 minutes. Maximum depth 5.6 m, 19 C water temperature, up to 10 m viz.

After a few days of lockdown thinking the 10 km exercise limit was not enough to get to the river, Tracey enlightened me with it's not the driving distance it's the radius, wahoo so here I am. When I got to the river my 15L was none and the 12L in the car had 160 bar. So off I went waiting to how the new Ricoh WG-6 will work.

A big westerly growing by the minute was a bit cool. The water clarity is still good, but there is some fluff in the water column. The highlight for me was in the beginning of the dive I spotted an unusual Myja. No colour accept white and a a little red on the head. But wait there's more...it has a branched digestive organ unlike any seen before.
