7 species sighted at Fish Cage, Mooloolah River, La Balsa Park, Buddina, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. 06-08-2022.
A single shore entry morning with Gary and David with Fran and Nevar joining later of 147 minutes. Maximum depth 5.8 m, 18 C water temperature, 2 m viz.
After a bit of rain, wind and swell there was plenty of silt! The vis had dropped to 2 m and when high tide came whiteouts occurred. HOWEVER!! the unexpected happened. Six Thecacera pennigera were recorded, how spectacular! Also great was recording Bulbaeolidia alba and Murphydoris sp. 11 as come-back species. Wonderful. Fran and Nevar managed to record Myja sp. 1, another come-back species. A total of 5 live species, best dive yet!
