Species List Pt Tangalooma, Moreton Island 15-06-2012
12 Species found at Tangalooma Pt, Moreton Island on 15-06-2012, Beautiful sunny day, light winds, 3 m viz, 18 C water temp! Single dive dry suits! This dive we used sieves and sifted through the fine sand.
G_2695c = Japonacteon suturalis. A rather inflated individual
G_2698c = Japonacteon suturalis. A rather slender, juvenile individual
G_2712c = Our 509th species! Hamineoa crocata (Pease, 1860)
G_2716c = Austrocylichna sp. 1
G_2721c = Austrocylichna sp. 1
G_2727c = Ringicula sp. 1
G_2742 = Ringicula sp. 2
G_2760c = Retusa sp. 3. Our 510th species! spp of Retusa can have either raised or sunken spires
G_2767c = Acteocina sp. 1
G_2776c = One Acteocina sp. 1 plus four Austrocylichna sp. 1
G_2781c = All but one are Austrocylichna sp. 1. The different one is the one with the most extensively broken outer lip in the bottom row – that’s an Atys sp.
