Species List: 19-06-2025, Route 66 and back, Mooloolah River, La Balsa Park, Buddina, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia.

16 species sighted at Route 66 and back, Mooloolah River, La Balsa Park, Buddina, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. 19-06-2025.

A single solo shore entry dive with Gary of 155 minutes, 1.4 m, maximum depth 5.4 m, 22 C water temperature, up to 10 m viz. There was another diver in the water and he found some *nice ones.

The winter water is here! With up to 10 m vis there was plenty to see. Richard Borland was also diving and found some nice species we have not seen in quite a while, Goniobranchus geometricus and Plocamopherus tilesii. Cratena pawarshindeorum continues to dominate the river, for the life of me what are they eating?? Nice to find a Christmas Tree hydroid with a single small juvenile Myja sp. 1 and spawn. Coryphellina sp. 9  has not been seen in a long time, so colourful.
