3 species sighted at Bubble Wall Toilet Block, Mooloolah River, La Balsa Park, Buddina, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. 20-03-2025.
A single solo shore entry dive with Gary of 142 minutes, 1.2 m, maximum depth 5.2 m, 26 C water temperature, up to 3 m viz.
The first dive at Bubble Wall and Toilet Block since the cyclone. Lots of debris in the water column and lots of debris on the substrate. The orange hydroids seemed healthy but no Coryphellina or Cratena were seen. Only 3 species were recorded today and that included many Murphydoris cobbi. It looks like the Toilet Block area was hit harder than Fish Cage....a new slate to begin.
