A single shore entry dive with Gary and David of one 278 minute dive. Maximum depth 5.9 m, 25 C water temperature, up to 4 m viz.

With quite a bit of rain and a brown river we thought we would give it a go, the last dive of 2021. 2021 was the most productive year ever. There was quite a bit of fluff in the water giving us a 1.5 m viz to challenge us. The silt was very heavy sometimes over 40 mm thick. This looks like to be the reason that the nudibranch species list is so low. The best part of this dive was recording 5 Cratena pawarshindeorum.

A single shore entry dive with Gary, Sheryl and David of one 304 minute dive. Maximum depth 6.0 m, 27 C water temperature, up to 4 m viz.

Since Sheryl and David wanted to get wet it was off to the bottom we went. The water was a little dirty with a max of 4 m vis. A live Weinkauffia reliqua was nice to see. I showed the guys the Melibe egg mass and I took a tape measure and what was there was 450 mm. I collected some of it and some was lost. When I compared the original mass and this one today, the original has to be 900 mm long! WOW! Another super find were two Cratena pawarshindeorum...they are back! Another new Gymnodoris with black rhinophores. This one has internal organs that are different from what we have.
