Another great time on the substrate before the storms come. Better vis than what other had yesterday. But what is great is two new species, an all white Lomanotus sp. 8 and Thordisa sp. 6. The river keeps on giving...
Myja sp. 1 was spotted in some hydroids but the current would not allow me record it so I collected it to shoot at home only to discover to my shock the sea water I left in the bottle had 'gone off'. Here is a poor photo of it.

Species and number thereof sighted:

Liloa brevis shell -1
Lomanotus sp. 8 -1 NEW SPECIES
Murphydoris cobbi -23
Myja sp. 1 -1
Retusa amphizosta shell -1 (blew away in current)
Thordisa sp. 6 -1 NEW SPECIES
Unidentia sp. 1 -5
Unidentia sp. 3 -1

Species List: 27-10-2022, Fish Cage, Mooloolah River, La Balsa Park, Buddina, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia.

8 species sighted at Fish Cage, Mooloolah River, La Balsa Park, Buddina, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. 27-10-2022.

A single solo shore entry dive with Gary of 166 minutes. Maximum depth 6.2 m, 23 C water temperature, 1-3 m viz.

With a big 1.9 m tidal flow I decided to give it a go and see if the profiler did any damage. Well it didn't seem to have done so.  Murphydoris cobbi where quite common today.  I am sure the tidal flow keep many animals at bay.

Species and number thereof sighted:

Eubranchus sp. 3 -1
Goniodoridella savignyi -2
Haminoea so. 18 shell -1
Liloa brevis shell -1
Murphydoris adjusta -1
Murphydoris cobbi -21
