The river is slowly recovering and winter is coming with a 24C water temp. Most of the silt has gone for now. The only species of Nudibranch recorded today was Murphydoris cobbi. It was interesting recording a couple of Bivalves with their unique moving. There was also a new orange Algae? growing on the side of a rock. Plus a few Bubble shells were found. Atys semistriatus and Mnestia sp. 1 blew away in the current not photographed.

Ahhh weekday diving...accept for the the amount of silt! A 1.0 m tidal flow mixed with silt made conditions pretty challenging. With all the silt I was not able to record any Bubble shells. However Murphydoris cobbi dominates the new substrate.

Ahhh weekday diving...accept for the idiot with 6 fishing pole fishing off the Rotunda stairs with me in the water - he was so self-centred and I was in the way. Yes I gave him an ear-full. Again it was great to see Murphydoris cobbi out and about. The water was pretty clear today and hardly any current.
