Species List: 30-04-2025, Fish Cage and back, Mooloolah River, La Balsa Park, Buddina, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia.

3 species sighted at Fish Cage and back, Mooloolah River, La Balsa Park, Buddina, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. 30-04-2025.

A single solo shore entry dive with Gary of 48 minutes, 1.4 m, maximum depth 4.8 m, 24 C water temperature, up to 8 m viz.

The river has cleared up nicely after a big rain and runoff. I received a new BCD so I thought I would do a little dive to test it out, it was very nice! This dive was short but I saw hundreds and hundreds of Murphydoris cobbi and Cratena pawarshindeorum. Yes there were so many and so many egg masses. I can only imagine the hydroids will be all eaten very soon. The Fish Cage is now completely buried!

Species and numbers recorded:

Coryphellina lotos -5
Cratena pawarshindeorum -hundreds and hundreds
Murphydoris cobbi -hundreds and hundreds

Species List: 26-04-2025, NudiDay with Sunreef, Hanging Rock, Gneering Shoals, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia.

16 species sighted at NudiDay with Sunreef, Hanging Rock, Gneering Shoals, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. 26-04-2025.

A double boat entry dive with Gary and friend of two 50 minute dives, maximum depth 19.5 m, 25 C water temperature, up to 10 m viz.

Nudibranch Day at Sunreef is a go. Just over a metre of swell and 10-12 kms of winds to get better as the day wore on. Quite a bit a surge at the bottom but some nice finds non-the-less. Berthellina delicata found from under a rock and Glossodoris sp. 4. were great finds because they haven't been seen for a long time. Upon closer looking there a few Tenellia sp. 33 to be found. Another good Nudibranch Day!
