A single morning solo shore entry dive with Gary of 95 minutes. Maximum depth 5.8 m, 17.6 C water temperature, 4 m viz.

Winter water is here! 17.6 C temp felt pretty cool, the drysuit worked a treat. Fran and Nevar dived too but I never saw them. Finally seeing live nudibranchs was a good sign. Murphydoris cobbi were seen by us all. Super to also see hydroids, sponges, ascidians and a stone fish. The river is in recovery mode.

 3 species sighted at Fish Cage, Mooloolah River, La Balsa Park, Buddina, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. 07-07-2022.

A single solo shore entry with Gary of 94 minutes. Maximum depth 5.2 m, 18 C water temperature, up to 3 m viz.

This dive was to shoot some video footage of me diving the river for the doco. No live Nudibranchs, 3 species of bubble-shells, a new hydroid, lots of worms from under rocks. The Fish Cage is nearly buried.

Species List: 03-07-2022, Northeast Reef, Old Woman Island, Nudibranch Day with Sunreef, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia

 23 species sighted at Northeast Reef, Old Woman Island, Nudibranch Day with Sunreef, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. 03-07-2022.

A double boat entry dive with Gary, David, Kelly-Anne, Tomas and friends of 55 minutes each. Maximum depth 13.2 m, 19 C water temperature, 2-3 m viz first dive, 8 m viz second dive.

After a bit of rain the weather allowed us to get in for Nudibranch Day. The first dive with no Sun shining was a bit dark and low vis. The second dive has less wind and plenty of Sun. Some nice species were recorded today. On the first dive I reeled out and dropped the reel, looked up to see a Stiliger aureomarginatus, very nice to see! Some very interesting finds were made today.
