A single solo shore entry dive with Gary of 158 minutes, 1.4 m, maximum depth 5.4 m, 19 C water temperature, 10-12 m viz.

Ahhh winter. Plenty of viz and clean water compared to a week ago. Some nice finds despite the intrusion of sand, lots of sand coming in to the area. A very cruisey dive the vis was distracting!

Species List: 14-07-2024, Toilet Block, Mooloolah River, La Balsa Park, Buddina, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia.

19 species sighted at Toilet Block, Mooloolah River, La Balsa Park, Buddina, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. 14-07-2024.

A single solo shore entry dive with Gary, David and Robert of 172 minutes, 1.2 m, maximum depth 5.4 m, 20 C water temperature, 1 m viz.

With a bit of swell and wind the water got quite smokey. Being close and going low and slow the substrate was clearly seen. Flabellina species were out in force. After a few months or more Myja species have comeback. Dendrodoris arborescens was nice to see from under a rock. A challenging dive quite worth every penny!
