A single shore entry dive by Gary and David of 158 minutes. Maximum depth 5.7 m, 20 C water temperature and maximum 10 m viz.

Excellent diving conditions were enjoyed on this river dive. Large numbers of Flabellina rubrolineata, Cratena lineata, Goniodoridella savignyi and Goniodoridella sp. 1 were recorded. The finding of two specimens of Sebadoris fragilis, under separate rocks, is worthy of note.

Gary and David on this excursion consisting of 1 x 83 minute and 1 x 74 minute dives in water depths from 12 m to 15 m. 15 m viz, 20 C water temp and moderate surge.

It’s been some time since we examined the middle portion of the Gneering Shoals so we selected a site we frequently dived in the past called Hanging Rock for this excursion. Sea slug species seemed few and far between and it took a great effort to locate the 19 species we did see. There is also a gutter at this site that we always examined but failed to locate it on this trip much to our disappointment. The Berthellina citrina specimens were all located together under a small plate of dead coral. Finds worth special mention include: Verconia verconiforma, Hypselodoris sagamiensis, Kabeiro sp. 1, Ceratosoma tenue and Dendrodoris nigra.

Gary and David on this excursion consisting of 1 x 77 minute and 1 x 72 minute dives in water depths from 15 m to 19 m. 12 m viz, 20 C water temp and moderate surge.

Upon descent we had intended diving the northern side as we did last time and then reeling over to the southern wall but arriving at the bottom we found the anchor had dropped onto the southern side and the chain laid up the sand gutter. So we reversed the dive plan and explored the southern side first. It seemed as though there were not as many slugs over there but a review of the images proved that be an erroneous impression. Finds of note include: Aglaja sp. 3, Caloria indica, Dermatobranchus tuberculatus and Verconia sp. 2.
