A single shore entry dive with Gary of 243 minutes. Maximum depth 5.6 m, 16.8C, 17.6 and 19.6C lowest water temperatures from 3 test computers, 10-15 m viz.

EPIC DIVE! The vis was very clean. Superb winter water. I wore my new APEKS ThermiQ suit and despite the readings of the 3 test computers 16.8C, 17.6C and 19.6C lowest temperature my core felt no chill at all, arms a different matter, all was good I didn't get cold. Happy! Ok, the number of Nudibranchs seen this morning (9C) were EPIC. Unidentia were everywhere. The Pleurobranchus weberi was larger than my out-stretched hand. It was big and very nice. Didn't get a clear shot of the Three Stooges and there were only two. The Goniodoridella savignyi were quite variable in colouration. Two Come-back-species. And no silt!

14 species sighted at Nudibranch Day at Sunreef, Trench, Gneering Shoals, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. 12-05-2023.

Double boat entry dives with Gary and friends of two 50 minute dives. Maximum depth 18 m, 19 C water temperature, up to 15 m viz.

A very overcast and rainy start was had but that didn't stop us. All excited I jumped in and once on the bottom I realized i didn't have my camera, it was safe on the boat! Some nice Nudibranchs, could have been more if the surge wasn't there!
