A single shore entry dive by Gary and David of 126 minutes. Maximum depth 6.9 m, 27 C water temperature and 5 m viz.
The tidal current was quite strong when we realized we’d chosen the day with the highest tide of the month. This may be the reason the count is a little lower than usual. Plenty of bushy hydroids with the orange polyps that seem to be favoured by both Flabellina rubrolineata and Cratena lineata. Both species had deposited abundant spawn. Gymnodoris sp. 10 presented with a number of specimens of different internal colouration that may be related to diet. Many recreational anglers on the rock wall however we cohabited quite well. We managed to stay submerged for over two hours on the 10.5 litre tanks.
