Gary and David on this excursion consisting of 1 x 78 minute and 1 x 71 minute dives in water depths from 15 m to 19 m. 12 m viz, 25 C water temp and some occasional surge.
After three months of either maintenance, bad weather or other engagements the planets all finally aligned and the good ship More Mischief left harbour taking us out to the Gneering Shoals for a couple of dives. Conditions were nigh on perfect, almost calm seas, only a slight swell, no current and blue water giving us good visibility. Whilst the species count may not up with the last time we were out on Clown Reef, quite a number of rarely sighted sea slugs were found including: Atagema spongiosa, Diversidoris crocea, Diversidoris flava, Halgerda tessellata, Hypselodoris godeffroyana and Phyllidiopsis xishaensis.
Number of each species sighted: 1st dive/2nd dive
