A single shore entry dive by Gary, Chris, Anna and Kyle of 120 minutes. Maximum depth 5.4 m, 24 C water temperature and up to 3 m viz.
After quite a bit of rain it was off to the river to see if it was ok to dive. The river on the incoming 1.5 m tide was pretty brown. We did notice blue water coming into the river through the channel and decided to give it a go. Upon descending the viz was about 30 cm, but after that magic happened! The surreal viz turned out to be 2-3 m+ with an orange-brown layer overhead giving the substrate an orange look that proved quite nice for searching. The highlights were another Costasiella sp. 1 found quite early and Ceratosoma tenue laying an egg mass.
