An intertidal shore walk by Gary and Shane. Maximum depth 200 mm, 24 C water temperature.

After a 3 hour dive in the Mooloolah River I received a phone call from Shane who was walking in the shallow water and found another Hydatina albocinta, off to meet him and see these magnificent animals. There were many white and a couple of purple egg masses and near them were animals deep in the sand or moving over the muddy substrate. The largest animal was over 100 mm in length. Thank you Shane!

A single shore entry dive by Gary and Gail of 184 minutes. Maximum depth 5.7 m, 22 C water temperature and up to 8 m viz.

A nice sunny warm morning greeted Gail and I at the river where we saw clear blue waterrunning at a pretty good clip. The number of species was great. Finding the shell of Ringicula sp. 1 was a treat. I believe this find is a new record for the River and the immediate Sunshine Coast, previously found at Moreton Island and Redcliffe. A very yellow Hypselodoris zephyra was happily eating. The number of Thuridilla carlsoni was a pleasent surprize as well as a very dark Gymnodoris nigricolor.
