26 species sighted at Toilet Block, La Balsa Park, Mooloolah River, La Balsa Park, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia, 04-09-2019.

A single shore entry dive by Gary, Jenny, Sheryl and Brenton of 181 minutes. Maximum depth 6.8 m, 21 C water temperature and up to 8 m viz.

This the first dive where the water temp has reached 21C this season, spring is well and truly on. Upon descending to the shallow bottom the first rock I came to had Elysia coodgeensis on it. Pteraeolidia semperi and Goniodoridella sp. 1 continue to dominate the species at this site. Trapania brunnea and Facelina sp. 7 were nice to see again. And from under a rock was a large Denrodoris fumata. A shell about 5 mm was found and the closet match I could find was Austrocylichna leucampyx. I found it strange that only one Flabellina lotos and Cratena lineata were found. After sighting the food source of Myja longicornis I collected some stalks with egg masses only to find the animal when I got home. Another nice dive.
