A single shore entry solo dive by Gary of 230 minutes. Maximum depth 6.5 m, 27 C water temperature and up to 3 m viz.
Time to see if mid-week diving after rain is do-able. After passing through a thermocline the viz on the bottom was up to 3m m and got better as the dive went on. On this dive I wanted to make my way to the High-rise at the end of Rotunda upriver. The Phyllidiella pustulosa was not there at the base. When the tidal flow slowed down I worked over the sand and was happy to record 25 Facelina sp. 11 making it the most common today. It was also great to record Hypselodoris jacksoni again, it seems to like the river. And finally, seeing Colpodaspis sp. 1 and Costasiella sp. 3 again were a real treat.
