21 species sighted at Toilet Block, La Balsa Park, Mooloolah River, Mooloolaba, Qld. 09-03-2021.
A single solo shore entry dive with Gary of 300 minutes. Maximum depth 6.4 m, 27 C water temperature, up to 4 m viz.
The low 1.3 m running tidal flow was time to dive Toilet Block. Armed with a G2 and A2 ScubaPro test computers in search of a new species was on. Some interesting species were recorded today/night. Finding Lophodoris sp. 1 again was a great treat as well as Knoutsodonta maugeansis. Goniobranchus aureopurpureus was nice to see in the river again. Also noted that Unidentia where no where to be found when the daylight was happening then at night they emerged some buried in the substrate.
