21 species sighted at Fish Cage, La Balsa Park, Mooloolah River, Mooloolaba, Qld. 01-04-2021.
A single solo shore entry dive with Gary of 283 minutes. Maximum depth 6.1 m, 26 C water temperature, up to 3 m viz.
A mid-week dive was in order after a little sun, but with a big swell outside the river is full of silt and the water column is too. Flabellina lotos was the most common species today. Two Plocamopherus ceylonicus were a treat to see from under a big stick and old battery...a challenge to shoot!
Thanks Wayne Ellis for stopping by!
