10 species sighted at Fish Cage, Mooloolah River, La Balsa Park, Buddina, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. 03-09-2022.
A single shore entry dive with Gary and David of 181 minutes. Maximum depth 6.0 m, 18.5 C water temperature, up to 5 m viz.
Rain all night and a southerly wind at the start but we had a great dive in-spite of it. Richie and Chris went the other way. After the dive we found out they recorded a white Elysia with dark rhinophores.... another new species! Seeing come-back-species like Tenellia sp. 49 and Lophodoris sp. 1 were wonderful. Eight more Thecacera pennigera were found today as well including a mating pair. The river is looking good...
