14 species sighted at Fish Cage to Pineapplefish Cave, Mooloolah River, La Balsa Park, Buddina, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. 29-11-2022.
A single solo shore entry dive with Gary of 182 minutes. Maximum depth 6.2 m, 25 C water temperature, 6 m viz.
A time to get in before the rains and swell come. Got in 3 hours before high tide 1.8 m so I wasn't in the water at the turn of the tide with the dredger and profiler upriver in operation. Recording Tenellia sp. 32 again was great and in the hydroid bunch there were many alongside Lomanotus sp. 7. After turning over many rock I finally recorded Atalodoris maugeansis again. Plus finding 14 species on a dive after the floods is fantastic!
