Summer is here and a predicted 32C day with a northerly blowing 20 kts. on a 1.7 m tidal flow...how good can it get? I'll tell you...38 species and 3 Come-back-species. Okenia sp. 4 -1, Jorunna sp. 3 and Petalifera sp. 1 were a big surprise! After finding 2 more Hypselodoris sp. 10 they were collected and will be sent to Gosliner for work. I emailed him images of the yellow spotted gills animal and he said, "Most interesting find! pretty sure these are not H. obscura, which lacks any spots on the gill. It is closest to H. confetti, but I think it might actually be something uniquely different. In this case we need to sequence a specimen to be sure. Let's make a plan to do that. Best, Terry.
