18 species sighted at Fish Cage and back, Mooloolah River, La Balsa Park, Buddina, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. 03-01-2025.
A single shore entry night dive with Gary, Cordula and Christian of 250 minutes, 1.3 m, maximum depth 5.2 m, 27 C water temperature, up to 2 m viz.
With the big swell outside and 20 plus knots of wind we figured the water would be dirty, but we were up for the challenge. Low number of species but some nice finds despite the visibility. Dermatobranchus sp. 16, Gymnodoris sp. 19, Jorunna hervei and Plocamopherus ceylonicus were great to see again.
