Our 412th species has been found off Caloundra

On the 19th of December 2009 Terry and Julie found Pleurobranchus forskalii (Ruppell & Leuckart, 1828) off Caloundra. The animal was about 170mm long! A giant! What make this species so unusual is the It is the tubercles arranged in clusters with a elongate posterior extension of the mantle. This species is very variable in colour.
Happy hunting!
