A shallow water find in a tougue of the river with Waye Ellis. Maximum depth 1.5 m, 25 C water temperature and up to 2 m viz.
After receiving a message from Wayne to ID a slug he found in the river I got excited and drove straight to the location where Wayne was waiting, near Twin Waters Resort. A walk down the beach got us to Pincushion. Around the corner to the right of the river mouth was a tongue of water. In that small body of water were many large green egg masses and many large slugs. The sizes ranged from 150-200 mm. A healthy population!
