Terry and Gary on this excursion consisting of 2 dives:
The first dive x 70 minutes at C-spot in water depths from 17 m to 20 m, 25 m viz, 26 C water temp and very little surge.
The second dive x 72 minutes at Rocky in water depths from 17 m to 20 m, 15 m viz, 26 C water temp and a little surge.
The weather looked perfect as we left the ramp at Caloundra. We raced to the site and jumped in. Upon getting close to the bottom the viz was exceptionally good, kind of a waste for us 'Branchers'! The numbers of finds was quite low for some reason. One highlight was a large Cadlinella ornatissima. And finding Flabellina sp. 6 our 727th species was a treat as well.
Number of each species sighted: 1st dive/2nd dive
