Terry and Gary on this excursion consisting of 1 x 77 minute and 1 x 63 minute dives in water depths up to 18.6 m, 5-8 m viz, 19 C water temp and little surge.
Upon entering the water we found the viz had dropped off quite a bit. The undulating substrate made us work for our finds. The highlight was finding our 752nd species, Tritonia sp. 4. This little nudibranch has opaque white lines, we have never seen this before. Another great find, that we don't see very often, is Goniobranchus rufomaculatus. We did however literally run into a 200 mm Marionia rubra, yes is quite large.
This was the first dive outing this winter where the water dipped to 19 C.
