32 species sighted at Bornella Reef, Old Woman Island, Mudjimba, Sunshine Coast, Qld, 06-10-2018.

David and Gary on this excursion consisting of 1 x 87 minute and 1 x 73 minute dives in water depths up to 14.9 m, up to 10 m viz, 21 C water temp.

Today the winds looked to be from the north so we thought we would try Old Woman Island again. It didn't look too bad except for the rain and clouds. On the bottom there was surge so let the challenge of recording Nudibranchs begin.

As usual Doriprismatica atromarginata was the most prevalent with Thuridilla splendens right behind. The highlight for me was after tying off the reel and approaching the wll we came across a mating pair of Ardeadoris rubroannulata...it's going to be a good dive! Dispite the surge the two of us managed to record 32 species.
