A single shore entry night dive by Gary, David and Brenton of 159 minutes. Maximum depth 6.7 m, 24 C water temperature and up to 3 m viz.

We decided to do a real night dive tonight - meaning dive between sunset and sunrise which is about midnight. After hearing water quality reports from other diver that dived during the day we decided to at least give it a go. The river was inundated an algae bloom, micro sticks! Sakuraeolis nungunoides was in big numbers and striking as usual, sometimes in "slimes". For me the highlight was finally finding Pleurobranchaea maculata! And finding Tenellia acinosa in the river was also great a new record for the river. Finally we found a 140 mm Pleurobranchus peronii! Yes a big one!
