A single shore entry dive with Gary and David of one 332 minute dive. Maximum depth 6.0 m, 26 C water temperature, up to 4 m viz.
First dive in the new year! After a week with light rain it was time get in the river to see how it was. We were pleasently surprised with quite a bit of silt in the beginning later on clearing nicely to 4 m viz. Recording Myja sp. 1, Cratena pawarshindeorum, Goniobranchus aureopurpureus, Gymnodoris sp. 26 (with red gills) and Retusa complanata was wonderful. For me finding another Ringicula sp. 1 shell was great! After 5 five and a half hours of searching I recorded only one Unidentia animal. David is learning his shells! Nice work.
