28 species sighted at Fish Cage to Seal Rock and back, Mooloolah River, La Balsa Park, Buddina, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. 11-12-2023.

A single solo shore entry dive with Gary of 181 minutes, 1.7 m, maximum depth 6.1 m, 26 C water temperature, 3-4 m viz.

An early start with a 1.7 m tidal flow and outside swell with easterly winds I got in 2 hours before high tide. There was a bit of fluff in the water column. Recording the second sighting of Favorinus sp. 5 was super and there were two initially, an hour later there was only one and a fat Gymnodoris sp. 10 near by! A fairly large Verconia simplex was also recorded. Nice to see Gymnodoris sp. 35 out scouring the sand in numbers. Another Gymnodoris species that does not match what we have!
