A single shore entry dive by Gary and David of 121 minutes. Maximum depth 5.7 m, 20 C water temperature and up to 10 m viz.
With the westerly gusting down the river it was a quick change out of the civies into the drysuits. The river certainly looked inviting and did not disappoint. We experienced good visibility and almost no current - just enough to take away any stirred up silt. Numbers of species seem to be back on the upwards trend now. The juvenile Hypselodoris zephyra is a new record for the river. The "white morph of Flabellina rubrolineata" was an interesting find. Specimens of Goniodoridella sp. 1 were abundant. More than half of the species types were aeolids.
