15 species sighted at Toilet Block, La Balsa Park, Mooloolah River, Mooloolaba, Sunshine Coast, Qld, 31-01-2019.

A single shore entry dive by Gary, Chris and Gail of 160 minutes. Maximum depth 6.5 m, 28 C water temperature and 6+ m viz.

Another summer outing in the river in warm water. After two day the vis dropped of a bit. Two large Stonefish were found all clean and white. Finally found the Mexichromis sp. 1 again. Oddly no Goniodoridella sp. 1 were found. Another Petalifera sp. 1 was sighted which was a great find and Goniobranchus aureopurpureus was found after a long wait.

A single shore entry dive by Gary and Gail of 183 minutes. Maximum depth 6.6 m, 27 C water temperature and 10+ m viz, very clean water.

After waiting for the the holiday crowds to go home we went for a dive and was it good. The water was very clearand the current was minimal. A large stonefish was found about the size of a football and as clean as you'll ever see. We tried to find the Mexichromis but were unseccessful. Some interesting species were found after 3 hours of diving in perfect conditions.
