A single shore dive by Gary, Gail, Adele and Amanda on this excursion consisting of 1 x 138 minute dive in water depth up to 5.7 m, 1-2 m viz, 28 C water temp.
Another fine summer day to dive the river. The water temp was a warm 28 C and the because the tidal flow was so low the viz had dropped off. There was enough viz to find our friends. Hidden in the base of the hydroid bushes were quite a few Doto sp. with egg masses. As the dive was progressing I kept feeling a tug on the reel and float. After a while I ascended only to find a guy trying to take his fishing hook out of the line. He had no idea what the dive flag meant and no idea there were people in the water. Grrrr.
