A single solo shore dive by Gary on this excursion consisting of 1 x 157 minute dive in water depth up to 5.8 m, up to 3 m viz, 27 C water temp.
Another warm summer day and the river still looks great. Floated up river to the trees and descended. Released the Eubranchus inabai after a couple shots. The mission on this dive was to search the sand and there were some nice species to be found. Another Costasiella sp. 3 but a fairly large one about 6--7 mm. Also found up in the 3 m level was a large Philinopsis speciosa at about 20 mm and very colourful. Another Haminoea sp. 12 was found with it's very long tail which serves as an anchor for the animal to retract if confronted. All in all a very relaxing dive.
