Julie, Terry and David on this single shore entry dive of 133 minutes. Maximum depth 6.1 m, 27 C water temperature and up to 3 m viz.
Although there was significant boat traffic, good conditions were enjoyed in the river this, our first dive excursion of 2019. The water temperature continues to rise. We took the opportunity to photograph in situ one of the stranded Kalinga ornata specimens recovered from Dicky Beach the previous day. Concerning our finds in the river, Phyllodesmium poindimiei was a not-so-common sighting and Okenia liklik is still around providing as always, an excellent opportunity for a colourful portrait. The hydroid eaters are still dominating the population count. We surfaced just in time to capture the sunset.
